Parent/Guardian #2 Information
Please complete and submit the online application below. Please note, submitting an application does not guarantee admission to a Seneca Village. Following receipt of the application fee, applications will be reviewed. You will be invited to visit the school, and to set up a family and child interview after the application is received. If there is no space available, you will be placed on a waiting list and will be contacted when a spot opens. If a space becomes available, an appointment will be made for you to visit the school, and a family and child interview will be set up. If admissions is granted, the registration fee will be required to secure acceptance. If you obtain childcare elsewhere and do not wish to remain on the Seneca Village waiting list, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to have your name removed.
2. Family Visit & Interview
Families will be invited by the Admissions Office to visit the school. After your visit, a family and child interview will be scheduled. Your visit and interview will be scheduled only after the school has received a complete application. During your visit, children will explore the Montessori classroom materials with the guidance of a Montessori teacher. During the family interview, we hope to learn more about your family, and for you to learn more about us. All children will be informally assessed by the head Montessori teacher as a part of the admissions process. All prospective students must attend the school visit.
3. Admission Decision
Seneca Village Montessori School mails admission decision information in August/November . Parents who do not qualify for HRA or ACS assistance will be required to make a payment of $600 (this is a $300 nonrefundable matriculation fee plus a $300 nonrefundable tuition deposit which will be applied to your tuition bill) and submission of a signed enrollment contract confirm acceptance of placement in the program. No student is considered enrolled in the school until the deposits, contracts and any required records are received. The admission offer by Seneca Village Montessori School is valid for two weeks from the date of the offer of admission. Agreement is made to pay tuition in full using one of two payment choices described in the enrollment contract. Families agree to abide by all Seneca Village Montessori School policies and procedures, as outlined in the Parent Handbook. If the school has full enrollment, a waiting list is established from applications on file. As space becomes available, the Director of Admissions will notify parents and proceeds to the next step of the enrollment process.
